The design challenge was to create a website that would satisfy the need to support business-to-business interaction within the town, as well as to entice visitors from around the world and direct them to Sausalito businesses and attractions.

In order to accomplish this without breaking the budget, Lion Associates created a new look and feel which homed in on the concept of "memories". This ethereal concept was able to satisfy the businesses' needs as well as the visitors' needs, and was executed by using photography displaying the picturesque qualities of Sausalito framed in of the sticky corners used inside most typical family photo albums . As part of the design process, Lion Associates also created a new logo which is simply focused on presenting Sausalito as "fun" and "memorable". Lion Associates also used a local favorite slogan of "Get away without going away" to remind locals of their stunning surroundings and at the same time invite visitors from the Bay Area Metropolis and the West Coast in general.

Greg Christie, President of Sausalito Chamber of Commerce says, "Our site turned out great. Lion Associates took on this task and made it better than anyone expected. When the site was unveiled to our members, it received a solid round of applause! It is easy to navigate and you can find information quickly. The layout of the graphics and photos make the site truly special."

Since its launch, the Chamber's website has continued to impress, serving over 600 unique visitors a day. It is the number one authority on where to find restaurants, hotels, activities and much more in Sausalito, and is also positioned to be a vital advertising revenue stream for
the Chamber.
